Since its formation in 1986 Gwent Mechanical Handling has based its business on the simple principle of "only the best will do".
International quality standard BSEN ISO 9002 (awarded in 1997) and environmental standard BSEN ISO 14001 (gained in 1999) were joined in 2001 by the occupational health and safety standard OHSAS 18001.
The principles of these three systems have been incorporated into an integrated management process which has been applied throughout the company.
