Leading forklift manufacturer, Doosan, has been chosen as the preferred supplier of leading international construction materials group Saint-Gobain.
The UK’s largest ever forklift deal will see the company supply over 2,000 counterbalance trucks across a variety of Saint-Gobain UK manufacturing, retail and merchant sites. These include the company’s Jewson, JP Corry and Gibbs and Dandy builders’ merchant networks.

Rushlift Ltd has secured a national deal to supply JP Corry, Northern Ireland’s largest builders merchant with specialist equipment from forklift manufactures Doosan and Combilift.
A highly respected name in Ireland, with a 140 year history providing timber and building supplies from around the world, JP Corry has already received over 40 new Doosan and Combilift trucks across 17 branches.
The 10-year supply contract was developed by Rushlift national account manager Matt Turner who travelled to each site, assessing each branch’s individual requirements and recommending new methods of working. Because of his expertise and knowledge, Matt was able to identify a tailor made solution for JP Corry to improve productivity and reduce lifetime costs.

Doosan national partner, Rushlift, has secured a deal to supply, Albion Stone, the UK’s leading mine operator and manufacturer of Portland Stone with a state-of-the-art high capacity telescopic handler, the DT160.
The new equipment will be based in Jordans mine, Portland, and used to extract stone from the underground mining operation beneath the local Cricket Club’s pitch.

Doosan’s national accounts partners, Rushlift, has emerged as the preferred supplier in one of the most keenly fought materials handling tender processes of the year, for international business group Aliaxis.
All the UK’s major forklift providers fought out a stringent tender process, hoping to secure orders for in excess of 100 forklifts over the next five years.
Rushlift, part of the Specialist Hire Group, worked together with Doosan to secure the initial orders for Aliaxis companies in Woolwich, Kent and Cannock.
